Their commitment to sustainability, environmental and climate protection has paid off for four companies in the Landsberg am Lech district. They have been honored by the Bavarian State Ministry for the Environment and Consumer Protection and show that sustainable management is possible in a wide range of sectors – from catering to green tax firms. District Administrator Thomas Eichinger congratulates Steuerteam Landsberg München GmbH, SV Business Catering GmbH, LSV Lech-Stahl Veredelung GmbH and Torsten Grün Unternehmensberatung.
Steuerteam Landsberg München GmbH Steuerberatungsgesellschaft, represented by Kerstin Schumacher and Sebastian Schießling, is involved in a wide range of sustainable measures. Key measures include the operation of a PV system, which has generated over 68,000 kWh of electricity since it was commissioned in 2018. This has saved more than 40 tons of CO₂ – a key contribution to reducing the ecological footprint and a step towards becoming a climate-neutral law firm. In addition, another system with a capacity of 16.5 kWp was installed in 2024. The law firm has also reduced its per capita paper consumption by over 30% since 2019 – an important step towards becoming a paperless law firm. The achievements submitted included the use of green electricity, the use of energy-efficient lighting systems, the operation of two electric and two plug-in hybrid company vehicles and the installation of charging stations to promote emission-free fleets and sustainable mobility.
The sustainable tax firm is thus setting a strong example for climate protection and environmental sensitivity in tax consultancy – an area that has rarely been associated with sustainability to date.
Thorsten Grün Unternehmensberatung is also involved in a variety of ways and has installed an AI-controlled energy management system. The company has switched to a paperless office by doing away with printers, largely dispenses with postal communication and has been awarded the title of ” Blooming Company” – further proof of corporate sustainability and ecological responsibility. LSV Lech-Stahl Veredelung GmbH and SV Business Catering GmbH are also demonstrably committed to environmental and climate protection. With certified environmental management systems, the use of renewable energies and targeted energy-saving measures, they are making an important contribution to greater sustainability in industry and the catering sector.
The Bavarian Environmental and Climate Pact is an initiative of the Bavarian State Ministry for the Environment and Consumer Protection. It is supported by the Bavarian State Government, the Bavarian Business Association (vbw), the Bavarian Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK) and the Bavarian Association of Skilled Crafts. The aim is to develop solutions for dealing with the climate crisis and promoting sustainability in the economy – in order to advance environmental and climate protection in Bavaria’s companies.
